Lorenzo Di Mauro was born in 1954 Italy and in the 80’s moved to Rome to join the Illustrators Association, working as a freelance illustrator, in the main for International Advertising Agencies but also in Publishing, Fashion and the Film business. One of his famous collaborations was working with Peter Greenway for the movie “The belly of an Architect”, which was nominated for a Palm d’Or at the 1987 Cannes film festival.

During the 90’s he perfected his digital painting skills working on CD ROM’s, which led him back to one of his earlier passions, painting Pinup Art, which he now does to this day by combining digital painting with traditional brushes and paint. One can say that his skills are such that one does not know precisely when it is digital or traditional, but that the combination of the two produces a depth and tone that is unique to his skill and talent as an Artist.
