Ray Leaning was born in Scunthorpe, England in 1959 and received a BA ( Hons) Fine Art at Exeter to be followed by a PGCE (Art and Design) Brighton, which led to a very successful career in graphic designer and art director in London. But his true passion is being enchanted by the female form and fascinated by fashion, to which he applies with great talent his pencil drawing and at times oil painting skills so as to revel in his favourite colours; black, white and red.

Des Taylor is inspired by “Real People” and capturing a moment that people can relate to. His Girls are sassy, cool, funky and desirable. Always leaving something to the imagination, he wants his drawings to reflect the power of the female form. His inspiration comes from girls and fashion of the street, together with Comic book artists such as Bruce Timm and Jack Kirby and great Gallery artists such as Toulouse Lautrec and Roy Lichtenstein. He studied at West Herts. College, Watford where he received an HND in Graphic Design and Image making and has been freelance ever since.
